What are serviced offices?
Serviced offices are fully furnished plug-and-play offices, for short-term requirements and include utilities (electricity, water, heating), cleaning, service charges, and buildings maintenance costs at an all inclusive cost.
What is meant by a furnished workstation?
Each workstation is furnished with the following:
- Mid-back chair on castors;
- Desktop with pedestal;
- Corporate connection for telephony, LAN & power;
- Carpet protection screen;
- Dustbin
What is the cost per SQM?
SkyCribs leases per workstation and not per SQM. With each workstation leased the added benefit of access to 600 SQM shared space (Lake Service Centre) / 300 SQM shared space (Hub Service Centre) is provided.
What are the lease terms?
SkyCribs offers the client the opportunity to decide on short term leases i.e. month-to-month or long term lease periods i.e. 24 months.
What’s the lead time on moving into a dedicated office?
Clients can move into their offices within 48 hours once the following documentation has been received by SkyCribs:
- Proof of payment;
- Signed agreement & accompanying annexure;
- FICA documentation which includes:
- Copy of the Director’s ID documents;
- Proof of Domiciliae (not older than 3 months);
- Copy of the Company’s documents (i.e. VAT & Registration Certificates)
Does SkyCribs provide computers?
Although some computer equipment may be available to rent at an additional cost, supply of the equipment cannot be guaranteed and is not standard practice. Providing your own equipment is preferable.
Can I use my own printer, scanner or copier?
The SkyCribs Service Centres are equipped with the latest in printing, copying, laminating and scan to E-mail technology. Unless prior arrangement by SkyCribs Management it is practice for our clients to make use of these services from the SkyCribs Business Centres.

Does SkyCribs answer business calls live?
Yes, calls received during business hours are answered by the SkyCribs receptionist in the client’s Company name according to the client’s specifications.
Where are the calls routed to when answered by the SkyCribs receptionist?
Calls are routed according to the client’s specifications either to a cell phone number or landline number.
How long does routing of a call take?
Immediately. After answering, calls are placed on hold with background music, while the SkyCribs receptionist contacts the client to see whether or not he / she can take the call. The call will then either be connected to the client or the SkyCribs receptionist will take a message and forward the message immediately via SMS or E-mail to the client (as per the client’s requests).
What is the Service Deposit and what is it used for?
The Service Deposit is used for all calls that are handled / forwarded from the SkyCribs Service Centre as well as for any / all other variable costs applicable i.e. printing, hot seat hours, scanning, faxing etc.
Clients have the prerogative to decide on the amount of the Service Deposit. The client will be notified via SMS or E-mail once the Service Deposit reaches a certain amount (decided by the client), who can then decide whether the deposit will be topped up or not.
Can VO clients make use of physical offices?
All the VO clients have access to Hot Offices / Hot Seats. Pricing and free hours depends on the VO package the client signed up for.
What happens to the telephone number after terminating the VO agreement?
The dedicated (012) telephone numbers stay the property of SkyCribs. For continuity SkyCribs can assist the clients to apply for TELKOM SMART numbers which can be linked to the dedicated telephone number. These SMART numbers will stay the property of the client. Additional set-up fees and monthly subscription fees apply.
